The Smithtown Fire Department was called to respond to Old Northport Road and Meadow Road in regard to people stuck in a vehicle in flood water during a heavy rain storm. Units arrived and found that the incident was further west on Old Northport Road, \u00a0in the Kings Park Fire District. FD personnel in dry suits waded into the water and removed three subjects from two vehicles. There were no injuries. The roadway remained closed while crews from the Smithtown Highway Department pumped the water out.
