Selden and Centereach Fire Departments are dispatched to a report of a house fire at 12 Oakmont Avenue in Selden. Units arrive to find a neighbor holding a bathroom fire in check with a garden hose. A line is quickly stretched and the fire is extinguished without incident.\u00a0Fire Marshals from the Town of Brookhaven are handling the investigation.
