The Hauppauge Fire Department, Central Islip-Hauppauge Ambulance and Suffolk Police respond to a. traffic collision on Veterans Highway near the entrance to the NYS Office building, Units arrived to find a crash involving at least five vehicles in the eastbound and westbound lanes. The driver of one vehicle was heavily pinned. Crews worked for approximately thirty minutes to extricate the driver.
