An elderly driver was transported to the\u00a0hospital\u00a0with minor injuries after her SUV was struck by the 7:11 west bound LIRR train just west of the Ronkonkoma Station. The vehicle was dragged about 1\/4 mile down the track. The victim was found near the scene. Train service was suspended for approximately 3 hours.\u00a0There\u00a0were approximately 350 people on the train a\u00a0the time of the incident. The MTA police are investigating.
