Center Moriches Fire Department firefighters were met with heavy fire coming from the rear of the house. While firefighters went to work to extinguish the fire, additional resources were requested from the East Moriches FD, Mastic FD, Manorville FD and Eastport Fire Departments.It took firefighters 45 minutes to bring the blaze under control. . Damage was extensiveThere were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation from the Brookhaven Town Fire Marshalls Office.
